Hi Adrian I don't think this will be the case. Anyway, i am testing it now. It need more than one day to get the result.
According to the JMS specification, the exceptions delivered to ExceptionListener are those which don't have any other place to be reported (such as network problem). Closing a closed connection MUST NOT throw an exception. There is no reason that closeing a closed connection will invoke onExcepiton() again.
