Putting in the servlet mapping code ie. <servlet-mapping> | <servlet-name>searchLesson</servlet-name> | <url-pattern>/servlets/searchLesson</url-pattern> | </servlet-mapping>
in the web.xml file sorts it out. According to the spec this is optional, this begs the question why do I need it then?
