As discussed many times and mentioned on the WIKI and the JMS javadocs.

The XAConnectionFactory is intended for use by the application server,
e.g. the resource adapter (java:/JmsXA) can use it so that JCA can inject the 
transaction.

Unless you are going to take over all the plumbing involved in enlisting the
XASession's XAResource in the JTA transaction, you shouldn't use the 
XAConnectionFactory directly.
