The EJB 2.0 spec. dictates the following for the ejbCreate method :
The throws clause must define the javax.ejb.CreateException. The throws clause 
may define arbitrary application specific exceptions.

So I think there may be a bug in the software. Just add the throws clause and 
compile the class again.
