JBossCMP supports EJBQL2.1 for CMP1.1 beans. You can deploy JAWS on your own. I.e. just copy JAWS classes from previous JBoss version (in jboss.jar) to a jaws.jar and put it in the server/default/lib. Then copy the container configuration.
