Thanks for the reply Ulf. It does seem to be a port problem. However the problem is not showing it self until deploy. Checking the logs I found a communication exception
javax.naming.CommunicationException: Failed to connect to server localhost:1099. This is confusing because I have uncommented the following section in the jms-ds.xml file. java.naming.factory.initial=org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory java.naming.factory.url.pkgs=org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces java.naming.provider.url=localhost:1199 Looking at the JMX-Console the org.jboss.mq.il.uil2.UILServerILService is pointing to the correct port.
