I can't see anything in javax.xml.rpc.ServiceFactory which resembles the 
createService() method shown above. What implementation of ServiceFactory are 
you talking about? Is this JBoss specific code?

Finally, can this technique be used with non-DII implementations? My code is 
something like:


  |         URL url =  new URL( urlstr );
  |         QName qname = new QName( SESSION_URN, serviceName );
  |         ServiceFactory factory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
  |         Service service = factory.createService(url, qname);
  |         WebServicesTest svc = (WebServicesTest) 
service.getPort(WebServicesTest.class);
  |         System.out.println( "output:" + svc.getStringArray() );
  |
