Now I've found the reason, why I was not able to use the web-installer!
Although I had my firewall adjusted to let the javaws.exe getting out, it
didn't let it out!
Switching off the fire wall (zone alarm), I've got jboss-4.0.3 now installed
with the web-installer, BUT I have the same problem, hier ist the error message
from jboss:

I've chosen the "ejb" profile being installed... But next time I#m going to try
the "all" profile.. in all likelihood it will fail again!!
