Hi Is it necessary to put classes12.zip/jar in the server configuration "lib" directory for using oracle as the datasource. Can't it be made a part of the ear file so that we just have to deploy an ear file directly in a newly configured/downloaded jboss...instead of doing an additional step of copying the zip/jar file.
Or is there any other way to use these oracle jar/zip...i.e. changes should be made in the application side and not on the server side or is this one of the step in doing the server configuration. Hope u all understand the issue ...it might be a trivial question, but help would be highly appreciated. Thanks Arvind.
