I am trying to use the viewTable generated form as my search form. If at least one match is found, then all is well. If no matches are found, an abort occurs because of a null pointer exception. Specifically mentioning a followUpOnError page etc doesn't solve the problem.
If anyone has managed to overcome this problem, I'd be grateful to know how. If there's a better way to search rather than use the viewTable form, I'd be interested on information about that as well.
