I have a table that has a column amt (decimal) that is updated by a form
generated by dbforms
The dbms is SQL server 2000. Initially I got a mesage stating that decimal
is not supported, worked aound that by adding a definition in the style
sheet as
<xsl:when test="@fieldType='decimal' ">
<db:textField fieldName="{@name}" size="{@size}" />
</xsl:when>
The update form displays correectly. When I try to change the value from
say 10 to 99.02, the field updates on the db to 99 - truncating the decimal
portion. I can see the update from 10 to 99 in the dbms.
Any help will be appreciated.
