You said something about key troubles after one or two updates in an intrceptor. I DK if this is it but... if a field is marked with isKey="true" in the config file, the preDelete and preUpdate methods disregard any changes to it. For example, Someone had a situation where they did some processing in the preDelete method and then I wanted to allow the operation, but on a different row. So they changed the values in the fieldValues hashtable, but still the orginal row got deleted. I suspect preInsert will be the same so if you are trying to insert several ros in one interceptor, it might just be ignoring your changes to the key value and trying to insert to the key that you just inserted.
