Hey Shawn,It's a nice peice of work isn't it! Much better than trying to filter and sort and search and worrying about whether or not you can use "whereClause" with navigation and where to put your "order by". Too bad I can't take the credit.
Thank you so much. The build in your war file works perfectly :) Something must have gone wrong in the more recent builds. I am at work now so i havent looked at my log files to see the cause of the error. I will look at it and email you as soon as i get home. Thanks again for the help :)
It is possible that if you just switched the dbforms.jar and .tld that the problem was other dependencies in your lib. It's probably best to swap out all the jars as the dependencies do change from time to time...
but I dk why the bookstore.war wouldn't run from the 10/26/2003 build though.
anyway, it looks like a lot of bug fixes are being done now (all over not just to the filter tag -- presumably from problems found in unit testing but I dk for sure) so I am looking forward to the next release.

try www.koyuru.com/dbf/bookstore.war
It's a verson (I dk the date -- built myself from cvs) that works for me.
