log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.apache.catalina.session.ManagerBase). log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. I studied all the documentation on the net, I configured the web.xml and log4j.properties as well. 2. JasperReports not working, even in the bookstore example. The error is the following one: Error: a.. null I tested this with hsqldb, the database works with other jsp pages, only with JasperReports not. The results are the same with MySQL, the other jsp pages are working good. In this weekend I intend to test all these things with Oracle. I am going to put out to the web an accounting application based on dbforms (a wonderful library), if somebody is interested to see it, I shall send the adress.
