Unluky I cant access to cvs and anyway i'm not able to build the dbforms
library.
I can't do any upgrade to different release to respect my application
specifications.
I've already tried to change my jdbc driver but the problem remain.
I'have only two way to get :
first, modify my table
second, modify the dbforms class.
Can you please send me more informations about how to modify the private
method ?

Good news!
It was quite easy to change dbforms that the columns are only read once -
only private methods where affected.
So i did the work and committed it into the cvs.
Do you have cvs access and can build your own lib?
