I confess that I didn't know that a win32 build
of xemacs was available. I'll look for one and
try that out.
David Starks-Browning found mismatched parentheses
in my _emacs file (thanks again!) but it did not
make the problem go away. I'm still getting the
following message, even when visiting an empty
