I tried to clean all the options in the "JDE compile" stuff and
the strange thing is:
if some error happens, it doesn't apear any garbage, just the errors,
otherwise the result is a collection of code, regular expressions:
([a-z0-9/]+: \([eE]rror\|[wW]arning\): \([^,"
]+\)[,:] \(line
and
caracters like ^@^@^@^@ and
Could it be the shell i'm using?
Thanks for any suggestion,
Luis

Hmm.
Well I know where this stuff is coming from, but not why its
there. The stuff that you can see is one of the autocoding templates,
which handles creation of code when you do Files-->Jde New-->class or
any of the templates from the JDE menu.
I have to admit that I cant think of any good reason why these
should be coming out in the compliation buffer. The only thing that I
can think of is that a) either your customisation's have got mangled
somewhere along the line and the template is being incorporated into a
variable where it shouldnt be, or b) the some of the jde lisp has got
mangled somewhere in the download process. I think either of these is
pretty unlikely to be honest. Custom usually dies if mangling has
taken place, and as far as I remember the custom templates are in a
different file from those which handle the compliation functions so
JDE mangling seems unlikely.
I only have three suggestions, which are to try downloading
a new version of the JDE, checking the custom buffers to make sure you
dont have any garbage in the "JDE Compiler" option (in JDE project
group) or in the JDE Compile options group. The final (and probably
best!) solution is to wait till Paul reads the questions because to be
honest this ones a little beyond me!
