I have the same problem when developing under win98/NT with jdk 1.1.5 and
1.1.8 - I believe it has nothing to do with Emacs, because two other people
in my team, wich are using Ultraedit/32, has the same problem. It is solved
by setting the buffer size to 1, but that is bad for performance.

I can see that everyone that replied to your mail, tested your program with
1.2.x . So it could be the

1.1.x jdk for Windows that has a problem (I have had no problems with jdk
1.1.x for Unix.).
