       Thats a lot clearer.

Does this happen when you type in a new class by hand, or if
you use the inner class template (sorry cant remember if this is in
2.1.5!)? Have you tried hitting "tab" to re-indent the line after
typing it in? What happens if you select the entire region (or better
still then entire buffer) then type M-x indent-region?

Im sorry if it appears that I am patronising. But its better
to work these things through slowly to get to the problem. People have
written in before saying "why doesnt it automatically indent lines",
and it has turned out to be because they havent switched that
behaviour on (or worse still accidentally switched it off!). Its
pointless for those on the list to go into "full debug mode" when it
might be a simple emacs config problem rather than a bug per se.
