- The browse-jdk-doc problem is with browse-url : I have hacked
browse-url.el so that it neither appends "-remote openURL(" nor prepends
")" when invoking netscape, and jde-help-class works beautifully, as do the
JDK and JDE doc menu items.
From
http://www.xemacs.org/list-archives/xemacs-nt/9809/msg00258.html
I see that this problem has been outstanding for a while.
- jde-wiz-override-method also works, to my complete bemusement, as does
implement-interface. I don't know what I changed, but it's absolutely
wonderful, I have a powerful working environment. Thanks to all who've
contributed!
For the record, I've had to change:
- browse-url.el -- netscape on Windows doesn't like -remote
- PACKAGEPATH -- I've built with package path as x:\xemacs..., to avoid the
"spaces in filenames" problems with JDE.
- jde-run-java-vm-w set to "java"
- bsh still isn't quite right -- I have to press <enter> twice to get it to
execute a command, but this is no big deal for me.
(I've also applied the mousewheel patch from Mike Woolley.)
Regards,
Thomas.
