This is a spurious error message caused by a bug in the launch
command triggered when it tries to notify you of the real
error. I will fix it in the next release.
The real error is that the JDE is not receiving a response from
the debugger in the time that it expects, which is specified
by jde-bug-debugger-command-timeout. The default value of this
variable is 5 seconds, which may be too short in general for
launching apps. I suggest that you try a longer time, 10 seconds,
which seems to be working for me. (I believe I changed the default
to 10 seconds in beta 8 but your prj.el file reflects the older default.
Try resetting the timeout variable to the default value and resaving
you project settings.)
