No output in comint buffer

Hello,

    Does anyone know why, when I run a java program from within the JDE
environment under NT XEmacs, I don't see any of the program's output?
It simply shows the javaw command with all the arguments, etc., to the
program.  I don't see this behavior under NT Emacs, where all the debug
information gets spit out to the comint buffer.
