In don't understand how the K&R setting works.

First, it warns that the setting takes effect when emacs starts.
Thus, although the setting is stored in the project file, the setting
inside the project file would have no effect, correct? Because you
can't load a project without first opening a .java file, in order to get
the JDE menu, and at that point the templates will have been built
according to the K&R setting in .emacs. (I suppose one could M-x
the command to load a project before opening a .java file).

Second, the setting doesn't seem to do anything. Regardless of
whether I set it t or nil in .emacs, or in the project file, all autocode
comes out with K&R brackets.
