I have the following in my .emacs:
(require 'jde)
(define-key jde-mode-map (kbd "RET") 'newline-and-indent)
which doesn't do precisely what you're asking for, but you may find
that it's better. This uses emacs' syntax-driven indentation.

Perhaps there's a better way of doing this (IIUC, doing (require 'jde)
isn't the best way of ensuring that the jde will be used for .java
files).
