OK, I'll do that, but am sort of tied to the current version for the next
10 days or so.

Can you tell me the name of a command-line which I could try running from
Bash (or a DOS shell?) which corresponds to what JDE is running?  That way,
I can look for some errors in that context.  I'd also be glad to insert a
few (message) statements in my local copy.
