I'd be glad to help you if you would do the following:
1) Upgrade to the latest JDE beta. It's a waste of your time and mine to
try to get a very old version of the JDE working that has many bugs that
have been fixed in subsequent releases.
2) Use the Submit Problem Report command (see my signature below) to
prepare a snapshot of your system and send this snapshot to me each time
you encounter a problem.

Please use the JDE->Help->Submit Problem Report command when reporting a
bug or seeking help. This command generates a complete snapshot of your
system. Submitting such a snapshot increases the chances that your request
will get a swift response.
