Thanks for the tip.
I just downloaded the lastest version of jde
and tried out the bean shell stuff with
GNU emacs 20.4, Sun jdk-1.2.2 under linux (Suse-6.3).
The bean shell doesn't seem to be working correctly (it hangs).
After setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH so that the
necessary java shared libs were found, I ran the
bean shell command by hand and got these errors:
> /usr5/java/jdk1.2.2/bin/i386/green_threads/java -classpath
>/usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde-2.1.6/
