nt4.0 jde2.16beta23 jdk1.3 Having trouble getting debugger to run under jdk1.3. I know this is a tired subject and I've looked in the User's Guide and looked through the archive. Here's what I get: *** Debugger Output for Process TestClient(1) *** VM options: '-classic ' Error: debugger unable to launch TestClient. Reason: VM initialization failed for: C:/Program Files/JavaSoft/JRE/1.3/bin/javaw -classic -Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_shmem,address=javadebug,suspend=y TestClient I've turned hotspot off which I heard can cause problems. thanks for any help.
