When you say reset, can I assume the following:

1 M-x customize-group jde RET
2 Given the following:

        Operate on everything in this buffer:
         [Set for Current Session] [Save for Future Sessions]
         [Reset] [Reset to Saved] [Reset to Standard]   [Bury Buffer]

select Reset to Standard, then save for future sessions if for .emacs
only?
