A new release of the JDE may change the format of one or more JDE
customization variables. If you load a prj.el file that uses the old
format, an error can occur when the prj.el file is loaded, which happens
every time you open a Java source file or switch from a buffer belonging to
one project to another. The solution is either to delete and recreate your
old prj.el files. I know this is inconvenient but it is too much work for
me to try to write prj.el conversion functions for every new release of the
JDE.
