are you referring to the "jde-complete-at-point-menu" completion menu? if
so then the up/down keys already work and you can hit the first letter of a
method to jump to it.

Can someone add the keyboard navigation in the pop-completion-menu ?
At least a up/down arrow key navigation,
at best something that let you move through choices by entering the
beggining of the choice...
It would be nice to forget the mice while using this feature.
