So the best workaround - at least for now - is removing the jde-part from the 
file manually (no, I don't (yet) have the lisp-skills necessary for 
integrating a workaround into that functions myself)?

Should I report this as an xemacs-bug somewhere, will you do this (would 
probably be better since I could basically just copy your description 
above...),....?
