AFAIK JDEE does not support the new syntax that come with Java version
starting from  1.5 (I would more  than happily receive  a message that
says "You Idiot, Java 6 is supported since JDEE x.y.z").

Nevertheless, I have  jet to see an editor as powerful  as Emacs, so I
suggest to use both.
