1. I'd like to change the `jde' directory in:

  - trunk/jde
  - branches/2.4.0/jde

to `jdee' to keep one name. The older `jde' name is an artifact
from before the project had to change it's name because of a Sun
lawsuit threat (if I remember correctly--correct me if I am wrong).
But the point remains and I'd like to change all references from
`jde' and `jdee' and this is a big one.

  Any objects or thoughts?

2. The branches/2.4.0/jde will remain, as mentioned before as the
moving target for this release. After the release is cut, we'll be
moving to the more conventional SVN model and trunk will be the
moving target. Then branches/2.4.0 will remain static.

3. I'm estimating a month for the 2.4.0 branch. We're adding patches
to this release, but I've also decided to add a lot of enhancements
that I've kept in my local library for years. While it doesn't
seem like much has been done in the way of new features, this has
been the number one goal of mine for months and that's how long it
   is taking.

Currently I have a set of libraries around JDEE--some that extend,
some bug fixes etc that need to be integrated. Once that happens,
my own development becomes easier. As we've seen, it seems like
others who are contributing patches have the same problem.
