Hi!

Some more info on this error. I have a tarball with my best attempt at
providing the example code that illustrates the problem I'm having. The
file contains a Java project directory hierarchy, with the offending
Java source file, the corresponding class files, and a JDEE project file
with the bare minimum settings (I think) needed to generate an xref
database. The class files were compiled with JDK 1.6.0_18, in case it
matters. I'm uneasy about posting up too much of our code to a public
list, though one (or a few more if needed) source files should hardly
matter. I *think* one should just be able to drill down to the Java
source file, CheckImpl.java, then run the JDEE command
jde-xref-make-xref-db. I have no idea how useful (if at all) this is
for troubleshooting the problem, or even if there's any appetite for
doing so.

Anyway, I tried posting this message to the list, with the tarball
attached, but (unsurprisingly) it bounced due to a size limit. If folks
think it'd be helpful for figuring out this issue, perhaps there's a way
to create an issue in bug-tracking and upload the file there.

Subject: Re: [jdee-users] parse error when invoking
jde-xref-make-xref-db

Hi!

I get a parse error when using jde-xref-make-xref-db:

jde-parse-class-get-attribute: Args out of range: [(nop . 1)
(aconst_null . 1) (iconst_m1 . 1) (iconst_0 . 1) (iconst_1 . 1)
(iconst_2 . 1) (iconst_3 . 1) (iconst_4 . 1) (iconst_5 . 1) (lconst_0 .
1) ...], 232

I have to check if I can paste in the Java code (I may not be allowed to
do so). Also, if jde-xref-make-xref-db is choking on just one file, is
it possible to configure it so that it "catches" and ignores the error,
so it can plow ahead and make the database for the rest of the files?

Thanks!

Cheers,

David
