Ray - You don't need to open/compile the XMLCom project... it was an encapsulation of JUST the XML stuff which JabberCOM uses. If you want to compile just JabberCOM, simply open that project and compile it.
NOTE: I haven't tried to compile JabberCOM on anything newer than Delphi 5 Prof, since thats what I used to develop it.
