Yea I would be suspicious about it actually being XP's fault too, its not
like Microsoft havent done that kind of thing before, in the past they
altered parts of windows to make Apple's Quicktime unstable if it was
detected running on the system, and were caught out and punished (although I
dont think punished nearly enough).
