As far as I can see, cPanel is the most popular product for management of web hosting services. I've been in contact with the folks at cPanel and they are open to including support for various XMPP servers via their cPAddons system. Basically there is some packaging involved so that your server software play along with cPanel. If you develop an XMPP server and are interested in this opportunity, please ping me offlist and I will hook you up with my contacts at cPanel.
