Kindly help out, Firstly - thanks for thinking about applying :) Basically you need to review the list of projects and find one that fits what you want to do. I would first start talking to the organization that the project involves, in your case Psi, and get a feel for what would be involved with the project. You have some time before the deadline so you can use that to get a feel for the group and the project. Then start working on your proposal - this can be done by editing the wiki to get the details down and then you can prepare your application. The hardest part is the part you've already started - introducing yourself and starting the conversation. It's a holiday weekend so it may be an evening or two before the Psi team pipes up.
