I initially thought of Jingle as well, but end-to-end Jingle doesn't work without Alice having a custom client. And a server-to-client Jingle session doesn't add anything to Ajay's use-case. PS. An generic Jingle tunnel application is something I've been meaning to write. It would be pretty neat to tunnel ssh, etc over XMPP. It allows things like NAT traversal and stream management, which would be nice to have. I'd love to be able to ssh into wa...@example.com/Home, without any need to forward ports on my home router, or worry about dynamic IPs. -- Waqas Hussain _______________________________________________ JDev mailing list Info: http://mail.jabber.org/mailman/listinfo/jdev Unsubscribe: jdev-unsubscr...@jabber.org _______________________________________________
