A XEP for exchanging XEP support could be a nice idea?. I haven't seen such, 
does it exist?

However there is also a XEP/Server comparison on wiki:

Also not that updated, but it gives some kind of overview.. But a XEP protocol 
for exchanging XEP support could be nice.
