There is a predefined pl/sql package available and u can call this from
java app and it will send a mail and make record in the database.I thing it
is dbms_utl. Otherwise u can write a pl/sql program to do this job.

Hello All,
I wanted to know what the best way to design a messaging system (akin to an
email system) was. I want to build a system which allows communiction
between a buyer & supplier on a topic and all the correspondence between
them is stored in a DB. Wanted to know from this list what is teh best way
to go about doing this.

Thanks,
Sudhi
