emacs -- The Everything Editor, will display the jar contents for you. This is very convenient: open the jar with emacs (you can drag and drop on windows), see it's contents, then you can use the same editor to open the needed file for edit.

Subject: [jdjlist] tool to find a file in a jar
Hi,
Does anyone know a tool (that works on Windows) to find a class file in a
jar?
(I sometimes get a bit tired of searching for the right jar file to include
in my classpath.)
Thanks in advance,
Danny
