I dont know about .net to help you out
but to start a JVM from inside C++ u need to
use the JNIs invocation APIs.
Just look this up on the net and u will find
lots of examples on the same.
And let me assure u that this works too good.

Subject: [jdjlist] Has anyone attempted JNI in C++ .NET Managed
Classes?????

We are changing our server to a .NET environment and I need to change my COM
dll
to a Managed C++ Class Library. I can't figure out how to start a JVM from
C++
Managed Code. Has anyone else attempted it??????????????

Any direction would be appreciated.

Thanks
