We had a great bug once in a previous company that occurred in financial software only
if the 2nd digit of the month was a 1. It was first noticed in November, reappeared
in January, and then "disappeared." The testing was lax and people figured all was
fixed until, of course November rolled around again. Software -- gotta love the kinds
errors it introduces that would most likely never have occurred with a mechanical
hardware solution. Consider automobiles and the intelligence they are adding. There
are great "horror" stories about bugs in the software leading to very odd correlation
of events.

Best Regards, Nat
