Well Tim, I believe you can !!! My suggestion is that you shall
pay no attention to this kind of answers... If you think it's fun
and are willing to spend some time digging into this very exciting
world of coding, just go for it... We have all been beginners and
in the same position where you are right know...
Try to find some other people that are in the same level that you
and try to solve the problems together... Keep up the good work...

there is of course the other alternative that we aren't addressing ... Tim
... you just may not be cut out for programming. Let it go. Its not maybe
for you. As many of the list posters have commented, the problem has become
so trivial in coding terms that maybe this is a signal to you that maybe
software engineering isn't the course for you.
Not everyone can do it, so don't panic. Find something you can do and
enjoy.
