Hi people, Am facing a issue with consuming UDP packets. The software of concern is bombarded with UDP packets regularly and at high rates.
This problem seems to occur in versions of JDK 1.3.1_xx and above due to which many of the "to be consumed" packets are dropped. This is an issue on HP_UX and Linux (did not get to try it on Solaris) but works just fine on Win2k/NT. With 1.2.2_xx this problem does not surface but the catch is the product has to use 1.3.1_03 and above due to some API issues. Does anyone else know of such an issue? If yes, has anyone tried a workaround for the same. thanks in advance, Shankar -----Original Message----- From: Troupansky, Irene [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, October 04, 2002 8:29 PM To: JDJList Subject: [jdjlist] Attention: BugBear!
