Hi,
I am
trying to get jetspeed to run under Weblogic version 7. The war file which comes
with the regular download deploys and runs perfectly under Tomcat, however it
only deploys perfectly under Weblogic but the moment I hit the first page I get
a ClassNotFound exception. The problem is that when weblogic deploys using the
admin console it does not place all the jar files in the appropriate lib
directory under the WEB-INF. Some of the files are placed there and some are
not. The problem occurs when Weblogic attempts to access a file which is in a
jar file which as excepted has not been placed in the lib directory during
deployment time.
Now I
have gone and searched on the net and google as well as news groups. There seems
to be a problem with some deploys such as cocoon on weblogic, where the manifest
is not properly formatted. I have not attempted repacking the war file as of
yet, but simply wanted to find out if anybody has hit a similar
problem.
