Hello All. I'm fairly new to java, and am building an application that needs to submit data to a web site. I had seen an application (Not Java) on a friends laptop that submitted his tax returns to the IRS. I'm trying to build a similar application that would need to submit info to a web site and also download some info from the website to the client.
I was thinking if it would be possible to build the client application in java and the website in JSP/Servlets. Now my question is how (if at all ..... I could not find anything of relevance on google and in the JSP, Servlets Specifications) my application can communicate (send & receive info from) with a servlet.
