I find the easiest way is to use winzip (assuming you are using the evil
empires OS).
create the zip from the lowest level (usually com or org) and rename the zip
file to a jar file.
this way you end up with compressed jar (which saves on client download
bandwith).
Alternatively you could use the jar tool from sun (run without parameters to
see usage).
if you want to create one jar with the contents of other jars it is often
easier to unfold the other jars into your file system and jar them up
together in one action.
